Breaking: Explosion Hits Kogi Community Amid Buhari’s Visit

There was an explosion in a community in Okene Local Government Area, LGA, of Kogi State on Thursday. The development took place at a mosque near the palace of Ado Ibrahim, the paramount ruler of Ebiraland. President Muhammadu Buhari is presently in the area to inaugurate projects executed by the state government. I Don’t Visit Abuja for Solutions to Insecurity – Yahaya Bello

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has said he does not visit ‘Abuja’ for solutions to tackle the security challenges the state is battling with including the farmer-herder clashes prevalent in several parts of the country. He disclosed this when he appeared on Channels Television'sSunrise Daily’ programme. Governor Bello said his government collaborates with security apparatus in the state to analyse intelligence to proactively tackle security challenges.
