A former Kaduna Central District Senator, Shehu Sani, has provided an insight into the latest terrorist attack in Southern Kaduna. The rampaging terrorists were said to have attacked the area on Wednesday killing over 30 people. And a viral report said that the terrorists this time, came with a helicopter, with which they carried out the operation. The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, has said it is not backing down on its protest until the Kaduna State Government reinstates disengaged workers and forfeit plans to sack 11,000 workers. My Government Can Barely Afford Salary Payment – El-Rufai

The Kaduna State government has said that its revenue allocation from the Federation Account Allocations Committee, FAAC, since the middle of 2020, can barely pay salaries and overheads of workers in the state. This comes on the heels of the recent disclosure that the state government is downsizing its workforce because of the overstretch of public finances by huge wage bills at a time when revenue has dwindled.
