IPOB Is Finished – Asari Dokubo Mocks Nnamdi Kanu

Former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, on Monday, claimed that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is finished. Dokubo in a Facebook Live mocked the leader of the outlawed group, Nnamdi Kanu, for allegedly denying he is a member of IPOB and his members justifying it. He further stated that Kanu has denied the sit-at-home, but questioned who is responsible for the sit-at-home in the Southeast. According to Dokubo, the IPOB leader has shown himself that he is not in the struggle, as he set up a company with no director or head. This is coming after the lawmaker representing Abia-South Senatorial district, Enyinnaya Abaribe lamented on the effect of insecurity in the South East. Again, Ex-Niger Delta Militant Leader, Asari-Dokubo, Attacks Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB

Founder of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, has again tackled the Indigenous People of Biafra and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu. Asari-Dokubo faulted IPOB for saying he was behind the reported extradition of its leader from Kenya. Both Asari-Dokubo and Kanu have been at the forefront of the struggle for the actualisation of Biafra. The pair started on a relatively good note but along the line they turned into enemies despite pushing for the same course. Amid the ensuing face-off, some prominent figures formerly loyal to Kanu have switched camp for Dokubo's Biafra Customary Government . For instance, Kanu’s former deputy, Uche Mefor, is now BCG’s Head of Information and Communication. In October 2020, Asari-Dokubo claimed that the IPOB leader had derailed t...

Terrorism Charge: Nnamdi Kanu Never Denied IPOB In Court – Lawyer

The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, never denied being the leader of the Igbo nationalist organisation while taking his plea at a Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday, his lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has said. According to the lawyer, the clarification became necessary because of what he described as “deliberate misrepresentation/falsehood and wrong narratives being perpetuated by some mischief makers” and gaining prominence in social media. Ejiofor said this in a statement on Thursday titled, “Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu never denied being the leader of IPOB – Let the records be set straight”. Nnamdi Kanu Appears In Court In Same Attire

Despite the order of Justice Binta Nyako of a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja that the Department of State Services should allow Nnamdi Kanu to have a change of clothes, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra yet again appeared in court on Wednesday with the same designer wears he wore when he was re-arrested and brought back to Nigeria in June 2021. The PUNCH had earlier reported that Kanu’s lead counsel, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), on Tuesday drew the attention of the judge to the treatment his client was being subjected to in the custody of the DSS. Sit-at-home: Amechi Threatens To Quit Negotiation For Kanu’s Release

First Republic Minister of Aviation, Chief Mbazulike Amechi, has lamented that the actions of some leaders of the Indigenous People of Biafra are endangering the ongoing discussion and negotiation for the release of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu. This came as masked men suspected to be members of IPOB allegedly enforcing the suspended Monday sit-at-home order attacked traders at Obollo-Afor town in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State for disobeying the order on Monday. Amechi had led Igbo leaders to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), in November 2021 to demand the unconditional release of the IPOB leader.
