ASUU Reaches Agreement with Reps, Awaits Buhari’s Approval
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has reached an agreement with the Federal Government after a 4-hour meeting at the National Assembly in Abuja.

The agreement between both parties was negotiated by the leadership of the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
ASUU president, Emmanuel Osodeke represented the union while Goodluck Opiah, the Minister of State for Education, stood as the representative for the Federal Government.
Although an agreement has been reached, President Muhammadu Buhari is yet to approve it as he is currently at the United Nations General Assembly meeting at the UN.
