Gunmen Raze Security Facility in Abia

Gunmen on Saturday evening attacked the facility of Abia State Police Criminal Investigation Department located at the Ugwunchara axis of Umuahia, the Abia State capital. Sources said that the gunmen arrived the SCID facility in a Toyota Sienna with some of the gunmen who were Stark naked and others dressed in black attire with red scarf carrying AK7. The sources said that the gunmen also came with the message that they will deal with anyone that disobeys the Monday May 30th sit-at-home order. The incident which was said to have occured about 5:30pm has forced many residents of both Umuagu in Umuahia North LGA and other parts of the state capital to desert the streets. BREAKING: Gunmen Attack Police Station in Abia

Gunmen in the early hours of Monday razed Ubakala police station in Apumiri community, Ubakala in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State. Ubakala police station is located off the ever-busy Ubakala-Old Umuahia road. No life was lost in the attack, which lasted for about an hour. Gunmen Kill Okowa’s Aide, Four Policemen, Cart-Away Rifles

Unidentified gunmen in a white Venza car have killed the Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Youth Development, Okiemute Sowho, also known as Daddy K. On Saturday evening, he was killed along Crudas axis by Akintola Road, Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State. Sources said the killing might have been carried out by assassins as nothing was stolen from the deceased after being shot dead. BREAKING: Seven Killed As Gunmen Attack Kaduna Community

Not less than seven people have died after gunmen stormed Ungwan Bido village in Jemaa Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday morning. Two children are also said to be missing after the attack. Samuel Aruwa, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, confirmed the story to ChannelsTV, stating that the attackers burnt down four houses. The attack follows the alleged killing of a Fulani herdsman, Isiyaka Saidu, of Ungwan Pah village on Saturday. Gunmen kill Ondo Monarch

Suspected kidnappers have killed a first-class traditional ruler in Ondo State, the Oluifon of Ifon in Ose Local Government Area, Oba Israel Adeusi. According to reports, Oba Adeusi was  shot about 5:50pm near Elegbeka village along the Benin-Akure highway while returning to his community after a meeting in Akure. Sources said he was confirmed dead at a private hospital where he was rushed to. It was gathered that Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu canceled all his official engagements when he heard of the killing. The kidnappers were said to have also abducted two persons at the same spot. Police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, who confirmed the killing, said all police divisions within the Ondo North axis have been mobilised to arrest the perpetrators.
