Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has asked political and religious leaders to restrain from divisive comments. Mohammed also called on citizens to resist any calculated attempt to cause division and instability in the country. He disclosed this while speaking on a radio programme monitored by NAN. Yoruba rights activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has asked for forgiveness from the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi for alleging the monarch failed the Yoruba nation during his recent visit to President Muhammadu Buhari. Femi Falana, SAN, has said that the order given by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State asking herdsmen to vacate forest reserves in the state within seven days is legal.
