Nigeria: Omisore’s Support of APC Shameful – Fani-Kayode

Femi Fani-Kayode has described Iyiola Omisore's decision to support the APC in today's supplementary election as shameful. Fani-Kayode had stated days earlier that Omisore was his cousin and he had spoken to him. He was assured that Omisore will support the PDP. He had tweeted "Iyiola Omisore will not let us down. He is my cousin and I have spoken to him. We are together. We will show Tinubu what happens when the Ifes stand together. We are going to end the APC's reign of tyranny in the rerun on Thursday. @OfficialPDPNig's Demola Adeleke shall prevail." Following the news of Omisore's decision to throw his support behind APC, Fani-Kayode said "Iyiola Omisore's decision to support the APC in tomorrow's rerun is shameful. Opinion: Removing Buhari Alone Will Not Solve All Our Problems – Fani-Kayode

Election fever has gripped our country and many want to be President. Some are serious contenders whilst others are not. Yet the truth is that our problems cannot be solved simply by a Presidential  election. It is a good start but it is not a cure all. We need to do far more than just electing a new President if we want lasting peace, if we want to flourish as a people and if we want to grow as a nation. The reality is that the problems of Nigeria can only be solved by having a credible and all-encompassing referendum and ensuring that our so-called federation is properly and thoroughly restructured. Anything short of that means we are simpl...

Opinion: The Desperate Agenda of an Evil Tyrant – Femi Fani-Kayode

Much has been brewing in the circles of power of our nation in recent weeks. Permit me to share some of my findings with my readers today. The rest will come later. Key players and leaders in the international community have warned President Muhammadu Buhari not to run for a second term but he has refused to listen. That is why he was in the United Kingdom for 16 days. He was not ill and he was not getting treatment for any ailment but he was consulting with and trying to convince the representatives of various foreign governnents, including the American, British and French, that he can still run in 2019 and win. My sources have confirmed to me that those he interacted with are not convinced but he has resolved to run regardless of their skepticism. They have asked him to probe...

Nigeria: Yemi Osinbajo is a Very Sick Man Indeed – Fani-Kayode

Femi Fani-Kayode has described the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo as a very sick man. This description came on the heels of the Vice Presidents statement that there will be monetary compensations to those who lost their lives in the bloody Jos attack. Vice President Osinbajo has been credited as saying "The farmer's family that were killed by Fulanis will be given money. If your family member was affected, you qualify for the money" In response to this, Fani-Kayode tweeted "Yemi Osinbajo is a very sick man, a very sick man indeed."
