13 Passengers Burnt To Death In Enugu Auto Crash  

No fewer than 13 passengers were torched beyond recognition in an auto crash close to the Four-Corners Enugu around 9 pm on Sunday. The road mishap occurred when a 14-seater bus which was traveling from Imo State to Adamawa, ran into a trainer before catching fire. Three Police Officers killed by Suspected Gunmen in Enugu

On Wednesday night, suspected gunmen killed three police officers at Chime Avenue, New Haven, North Local Government Area in Enugu State. See Also: Police Rescue Italian Catholic Priest Abducted In Edo, Kill 3 Suspects According to the Daily Post, a sienna driven by the suspected gunmen overtook a police Hilux vehicle and then proceeded to open fire on the officers afterwards. EFCC Arrests 33 Internet Fraud Suspects

Operatives of the Lagos and Enugu Zonal Commands of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday arrested 33 internet fraud suspects in separate sting operation. Seventeen of the suspects were arrested in Lagos while 16 others were nabbed at Enugu. BREAKING: Fire razes INEC Office in Enugu

The office of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Obollo-Afor, Udenu local government area of Enugu State has been razed down by midnight fire. The cause of the fire, which was said to have occurred late on Thursday is not known yet. The police confirmed the fire incident In a statement by the Enugu police spokesman, Daniel Ndukwe, titled, ‘Fire incident at INEC office in Obollo-Afor: CP orders the conduct of the thorough investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire outbreak and damages incurred’. The statement noted that the combined effort of the state fire service, residents, and security agents prevented the fire from razing other offices.
