David Umahi, Governor of Ebonyi State, has said that he is not against the Presidential ambition of Labour Party, LP, candidate Peter Obi nor is he against the emergence of a president of Igbo extraction. The governor issued the clarification on Friday in reaction to viral posts on social media alleging that he was against Peter Obi’s presidential ambition. The social media post attributed to Umahi also alleged that the Ebonyi State Governor has given up on the quest for the realisation of a Nigerian president of Igbo origin.
