NBA Frowns at Alleged Assault of Security Guard by CCT Chair
The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, has frowned at the alleged assault of a security guard by the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, Danladi, saying such action is unbecoming of a legal practitioner.
The NBA in a statement by its Public Secretary, Rapulu Nduka, on Thursday said described Danladi’s action as unfortunate in view of his high office.
According to the statement, preliminary investigation suggests that Umar failed to uphold good conduct expected of a public officer occupying such high office as CCT Chairman.
It noted that a committee of the association would be set up to investigate the circumstances leading to the altercation.
