Nigeria: Abuja Bound Train Crushes 52 Cows in Kaduna

The Kaduna state commissioner of police sunday confirmed that 52 cows were crushed to death by an kaduna-Abuja bound train. Addressing a press conference in Kaduna, police Commissioner Ahmad Abdurahaman said the incidence happened in Kasarami in Kagarko local government of the state. Nigeria: South-East Governors Reject Ranching, Stop Herdsmen Movement

Following the threat of herdsmen attack on farms and farmers, the South-East Governors' forum held a meeting at the Enugu government house where it made some resolutions. After the meeting, the governors expressed their fears that the violence that appears to be trailing the herdsmen may spread to their domain. Following this, the governors decided to take proactive measures to ensure this does not happen.
