World Cup: Brazil Edges Out Mexico 2:0 to Advance to the Quarter Finals
The Samba boys beat the Mexican team by 2:0 to advance to the quarter finals of the World Cup. Both teams played out a goalless first half with the Mexicans enjoying more of the ball possession.
In the second half, Neymar put Brazil in the lead in the 51st minute while Firmino doubled the lead in the 88 minute. This put paid to Mexico's dreams of advancing to the quarter finals.
