Femi Falana Says “Buhari Must Go” at NLC Protest

Lawyer and Human Right Activist, Femi Falana has said the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has brought depression and hardship upon Nigerians. Falana issued this statement at the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Protest in Lagos on Tuesday. The Lawyer said that this government's administration is not what the people voted for. He said the regime had caused hardship, making the standards of living for the common people get worse day by day. “The living standards of our people are getting worse by the day. ASUU Strike: Unease As Electricity Workers Declare Readiness To Join NLC Protest

Power sector workers have declared readiness to join the protest scheduled by the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, to persuade the federal government to resolve the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU. The workers under the auspices of the National Union of Electricity Employees, NUEE, confirmed its readiness in a memo issued by its General Secretary, Joe Ajaero, after a meeting of the central working committee and national working committee. Why ASUU Must Call Off Strike – Education Minister
