Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi on Internal Security and Public Utilities (Urban), Egwu Chidiebere has resigned his appointment with immediate effect. The development comes after Umahi formally announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) on Tuesday. Ebonyi PDP Chairman: Dissolution of State Executive Ridiculous

Onyekachi Nwebonyi, chairman of the Ebonyi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), state executive recently dissolved by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party has described the dissolution as laughable. Nwebonyi disclosed this in a statement in Abakaliki on Wednesday. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday said that it would not be pressured into zoning its presidential ticket to the South-east zone. Gov Obaseki Appoints Osarodion Ogie as SSG

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has ratified the appointment of Osarodion Ogie Esp., as Secretary to the State Government (SSG). Obaseki who was sworn in on Tuesday for a second term in office disclosed in a statement that Ogie’s appointment was the only political appointment he would make for the time being.
