Tinubu Denies Demanding N50 billion Monthly from Ambode
The All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has denied allegations that he directed the former Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, to remit N50 billion monthly to him.
The ex-Governor who was elected in office in 2015 was allegedly asked to pay N50 billion monthly to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu during his administration, However, Ambode failed to secure a second tenure as he lost the APC primary election in 2018.
Reports emerged that Ambode’s failure to secure the APC governorship tickets was because he refused to pay the demanded sum to Tinubu.
