Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State has appointed 30 civil servants as permanent secretaries. The appointees were contained in a statement issued by the Head of Service, Dr Festus Oyebade on Thursday. According to the statement, the appointees would fill existing vacancies in the state civil service. However, Ademola Adeleke, the Osun State Governor-Elect, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, cautioned those appointed against taking up the post. Senator Adewole Adewole Adeleke of the People Democratic Party (PDP) emerged as the winner of the just concluded governorship election in Osun state. This infuriated Uche Nwosu as the now outgoing APC governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola, lost in the contest to their PDP counterpart, Adeleke.
