Oyetola Appoints 30 PS Three Days To Handover

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State has appointed 30 civil servants as permanent secretaries. The appointees were contained in a statement issued by the Head of Service, Dr Festus Oyebade on Thursday. According to the statement, the appointees would fill existing vacancies in the state civil service. However, Ademola Adeleke, the Osun State Governor-Elect, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, cautioned those appointed against taking up the post. Osun: The Reason for Oyetola’s Defeat – Uche Nwosu

All Progressive Congress (APC) party's member, Uche Nwosu, has faulted the loss of the party in the just concluded Osun election on their arrogance, pathetic reward system, and reliance on power. Senator Adewole Adewole Adeleke of the People Democratic Party (PDP) emerged as the winner of the just concluded governorship election in Osun state. This infuriated Uche Nwosu as the now outgoing APC governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola, lost in the contest to their PDP counterpart, Adeleke. Briefly after the winner was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Nwosu pointed out that the party’s loss is a result of an internal crisis crumbling the structure of the party in almost all the states.
