Kaduna Protest: AFC Speaks on Way Forward
The Arewa Consultative Forum, AFC, has weighed in on the dispute between the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Kaduna State Government, asking both parties to amicably come to terms.
The AFC in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Emmanuel Yawe, said the strike action by the NLC has grounded activities in the state.
The group urged the Kaduna State Government to afford the workers marked for disengagement more time to acquire new skills before they are laid off.
Yawe said, “For two days now the activities of the Kaduna state government have been crippled by a strike called by the Nigeria Labour Congress.
