2023: Ganduje To Pick Senatorial Form Monday

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State is warming up to pick the senatorial form on Monday to contest for the seat of Kano North senatorial district. Ganduje’s decision to pick up the form was reached at the stakeholders meeting held behind closed doors at the government house. A source with privileged information from the meeting said the Governor is expected to pick the nomination and expression of interest forms for the Kano North Senatorial District on Monday. With this development, Ganduje is to unseat the incumbent Senator Barau Jibrin who is currently occupying the seat. Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has banned political thugs at events and gatherings across the state. Ganduje gave the order in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Abba Anwar, yesterday in Kano. We Didn’t offer Ganduje Visiting Professorship – US University

Following reports of Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje being appointed as a visiting professor, the East Carolina University has debunked the report, saying the letter issued to the governor was from unauthorised source. Abba Anwar, Ganduje’s spokesperson had on Tuesday claimed the governor’s appointment was contained in a letter sent to him by the varsity through a lecturer of the International Centre for IT and Development, Victor Mbarika, at the university’s College of Business on November 30. Reacting to the development, Dr Grant Hayes, the university’s Interim Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr Grant Hayes, in a letter to Ganduje, dated December 4, 2020, titled ‘Re: Unavailability of Faculty Appointment,’ denied the authenticity of the letter.
