Wike Threatens to Ensure PDP lose 2023 Presidential Election

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has threatened to do anything possible to ensure the Peoples Democratic Party loses the 2023 presidential election. Wike on Thursday issued threats at the commissioning of the internal road in Omerelu community in the Ikwerre local government area of the state. INEC Alerts Nigerians about Fake Online Registration Portal

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has alerted Nigerians about the existence of a false online site asking people to enroll for their permanent voter card (PVC). The Commission had already announced that voter registration would end on the 31st of July but barely 24 hours after the suspension of voter registration, a fake online portal claimed the government has approved the registration of PVC online. The Commission said the site is not linked to INEC, saying the portal is not authentic and from a fraudulent source.
