Switzerland snatched a win over Serbia, winning 2:1. The Serbians had opened score in the 5th minute through Mitrovic and managed to maintain that scoreline all through the first half.
In the second half, the Swiss, pulled one back through Xhaka in the 52nd minute. The match looked like it was going to end in a stalemate until the 90th minute when Shaqiri scored the second for the Swiss.
The result of this match threw the group open with Brazil and Switzerland having 4 points while Serbia has 3 points. Each of these teams now have to win their last matches to be fully sure of qualifying for the next round.
Switzerland will take on Costa Rica on the 27th while Serbia will take on Brazil at the same time.
