Uruguay won the Saudis by a lone goal to confirm their qualification to the round of 16 and Egypt’s exit from the tournament. In one of those tough permutations, Egypt would have stood a chance had Saudi Arabia won Uruguay.

Luis Suarez’s 23rd minute strike was all Uruguay needed win the match.With Uruguay’s win, Egypt is now officially out of the tournament.
