Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi is considering a move away from Goodison Park after being overlooked for Everton’s first two fixtures of the season.

Iwobi, 24 arrived at Everton last summer from Arsenal following a £34 million deal but has failed to tie down a place in the team this season.

Last season, the forward scored just once in 25 Premier League games under former manager, Marcus Silva. The sacking of Silva led to the recruitment of veteran coach, Carlo Ancelotti who has been backed in the transfer market, a move which has seen Everton acquiring the services of Niels Nkounkou from Marseille as well as Allan, and James Rodriguez from Spanish giants, Real Madrid.

Reports by the Telegraph claims Iwobi is among a group of nine senior players the English Premiership League outfit are poised to consider offers for.

There were equally speculations that Iwobi and Moise Kean remain part of Ancelotti’s plans for the season but the club is exploring options to balance books after their summer spending spree. Both players could bring in a large sum.

While Kean played the entire 90 minutes as Everton beat league two side, Salford City on Wednesday, the Nigerian did not make the bench for the encounter.

Kean ended up converting a spot kick to hand Everton their third goal of the encounter.

The latest snub follows on from their Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspurs where Iwobi was missed from the match day squad.
