Nigeria: Atiku not Constitutionally Qualified to Contest, He was Born in Cameroon

Only natural born citizens by birth are valid and eligible source of producing a president in Nigeria.

In an interesting twist, a news brought to the fore by Nnamdi Kanu regarding Atiku’s birth appears to have brought up a constitutional concern. Following this revelation, a bishop wrote an article on Facebook explaining the constitutional implication of this.

“People of God.. When someone talks, try and listen, understand and assimilate before you vomit a reply..

.
Atiku Abubakar is a Fulani man as he said. He is from Adamawa state. He is a Nigerian today. He is the presidential aspirant of the PDP..
No one is taking all these a way from him..
.
A referendum was held in British Cameroons on 11 February 1961 (today Marks it 58years) to determine whether the territory should join neighbouring Cameroon or Nigeria.. That territory encompasses today’s Adamawa state..
.
Atiku Abubakar was born in 1946. Therefore at the Time of birth, he was Cameroonian..
This is Nnamdi Kanu’s argument..
.
In sane clines.. This position should be just irrelevant and baseless. After all, so many great leaders are not “natural born” like Ali Bongo Ondimba of Gabon and even Barrack Obama’s root is traced to Kenya.. Etc
.
But please STUDY this..
Chapter VI, Part I, Section 131 of the constitution states that a person may be qualified for election of the office of the President if:
*They are a citizen of Nigeria by #BIRTH.
.
Only natural born citizens by birth are valid and eligible source of producing a president in Nigeria..
Those of you delivered in China, Lyon and the Best hospitals of London please.. Don’t come home to be president.. So says an evil constitution trying to protect the evil enclave of Fulani caliphate that doesn’t travel out..
.
If we must abide by the constitution.. Atiku Abubakar was NOT born Nigerian.. His birth certificate does not bear Nigerian and people born before 1961 from this region cannot be president of Nigeria..
.
Nnamdi Kanu is not saying that he should be disqualified. He is only pointing out one of the the stupidities and flaws of your constitution. The lapses.
If Atiku was a southerner, the government would have used it against him and same gullible fools who are cursing Mazi Kanu will be the ones on the other side, interpreting their madness in the name of pointing out what “our constitution says!”
***********************************************
TAKE THIS TO THE BANK…
I am sure that if Nigeria remains as one, the day a Igbo Man born between 1967-70 comes to contest as President, then we will be left to the Supreme court to determine if he was a Biafran or Nigerian at birth..
.***********************************************
We need to fix the SYSTEM with EQUITY and the constitution to get these simple things that #only PVC vs APC cannot change right..
.
Before then, it’s Sunday.. Let’s go to church and pray that the God that gave INEC your phone numbers this week will also give them your account details..”
