Lagos Lawmaker Presents Free GCE Forms to Students

A member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu representing Eti-Osa constituency 02 on Thursday presented free General Certificate Examination (GCE) forms to students, hinted  them on the importance of education and its impact to the nation at large.
He made this known at the 7th edition of free GCE forms distribution to his constituents in Lagos.
Harping on the need for students to be well educated, Hon. Yishawu lectured the candidates for over an hour urging  them to carefully choose their course of study and take the opportunity made available to them with all seriousness.
According to him, I am happy that you came around to pick the forms. Your time is your time and you cannot work with somebody’s else time. I will advise you to study hard. Some parents that are not educated spend more to attain education for their children because they know the value of education.
He therefore appealed to parents to guide their children in choosing course of study in high institution and not compelled them to study a particular course.
In a related development, Yishawu posited that distribution of the forms is part of his commitment and support to his constituents.
Some of the candidates interviewed appreciated their lawmaker for his kind gesture, called other lawmakers to emulate him.
Mustaqim Olayiwola, a 15-year-old boy prayed for Yishawu for making the opportunity available to people who could not afford to buy the GCE forms.
In her submission, miss Adewusi Adebukola also appreciates the lawmaker for kind gesture said she would like to study Business Administration in the high institution.
