25th August 2020 Given the bloody events in Nigeria, I strongly urge us to dialogue not only at national, but also at international levels regarding what I have termed the “territorial credence*” of Nigeria. That is, how real is this country called Nigeria? Such a dialogue is needed, and quite urgently too as it regards the legal existence and then the viability of “Nigeria”. Nigeria’s Union is founded on its Constitution. Before Independence in 1960 the ethnic nationalities that comprise Nigeria established, then agreed upon certain conditions that must be met and kept, if there was to be any Union. 11th August 2020 For the sake of authenticity and thus validity, Nigeria’s Constitution must truly be made by the people, and not be imposed upon the people (unawares) as was the 1999 Constitution. In the past twenty-one years much has been written about the forgery that the 1999 Constitution is. Briefly, “We the people” did not prepare or agree any part of this Constitution as falsely claimed in its preamble. Furthermore, the current Nigeria is not a Federation as stated in the Constitution, instead it operates under a Unitary system. The United Nations (UN) cautions that Africa and the rest of the world could witness a “generational catastrophe” due to the closure of schools around the world amid the COVID-19 scare. This was disclosed by U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in a communique. Reports suggest as at mid-July, at least 160 countries had closed their schools keeping more than 1 billion students at home while at least 40 million children have missed out on pre-school. U.S Gives Conditions for Lifting Sanctions Imposed on South Sudan

The United States has asked South Sudan to intensify its efforts at achieving sustainable peace and kicking out corruption if arms embargo and other sanctions imposed on the country would be lifted. It was disclosed by outgoing ambassador of the U.S to South Sudan, Thomas Hushek. Hushek was quoted by BBC to have said that South Sudan has to work on a “reduction in level of violence and corruption” in the system for the sanctions to be lifted. Turkey Gifts Rwanda Face Masks to Help Combat COVID-19

Rwanda’s fight against coronavirus has been boasted by donation of face masks received from Turkey. The ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation, Rwanda, acknowledged receipt of the donation in a statement describing it as “a sign of friendship and solidarity between the two countries in the fight against COVID-19.” The Turkish embassy in Rwanda said Ankara offered 50,000 face masks while a private firm donated 40,000 to Kigali in show of support to the East African nation.
