Kaduna Train Attack Questions Our Capacity To Govern — Govs

Train Governors of the 36 states of the federation yesterday condemned the terrorist attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train service, saying the attack and other acts of violence in the country questioned their capacity to govern. The governors’ reaction came as the Kaduna State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, lamented that with the attack which left eight passengers dead and 41 others injured, mourning had now become a daily ritual in the country. Train Names of 398 victims, who boarded the ill-fated Abuja-Kaduna train, have emerged. Recalled that on Monday night, some gunmen suspected to be terrorists bombed the Abuja-Kaduna train between Katari and Rigina axis, leaving hundreds of passengers dead in the attack. Gunmen Suspected terrorists on Monday evening bombed Abuja-Kaduna rail tracks and attacked a train with about 970 passengers onboard. It was gathered that the Kaduna-bound train derailed after the explosive device planted by the terrorists went off underneath one of the coaches. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released the former governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano after he perfected his bail conditions. The former governor was arrested last week by the anti-corruption agency a few hours after handing over to the current governor, Charles Soludo. He was given administrative bail on Wednesday evening.
