There Is A Terror Group Now In Lagos – Nnamdi Kanu

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu says there is an organised terror group in Lagos State. The IPOB leader also said the Miyetti Allah in Ebonyi State was functioning as a terror group for years until the Eastern Security Network (ESN) single-handedly drove them out of the state. He stated that the intimidation that the ESN and IPOB are getting from the Nigerian government is because of their determination to frustrate the terrorists groups in the South-East. Gov Umahi Condemns the Madness of Herdsmen Killings in South-East

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has condemned the increased spate of killings by herdsmen in the South-East region describing it as “madness of herdsmen killings” while stressing that it must cease immediately and herdsmen must abide by the culture of their host communities in the region. Parents of abducted Kaduna Students protest at NASS

Parents of the abducted students of the College of Forestry Mechanization Afaka in Kaduna State were denied entry to the National Assembly complex, Abuja on Tuesday during a protest. The Senate on Tuesday shifted its proposed meeting with Service Chiefs, the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and the Inspector General of Police to Thursday. Nigerian Army Changes Boko Haram War Codename to Hadin Kai

The Nigerian Army has disclosed that the war against Boko Haram in the North-East has been renamed Operation Kadin Kai from Operation Lafiya Dole. The change was approved by the Chief of the Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, in a statement issued on Friday, noting it would fortify the fight against insurgency, SaharaReporters reports. Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has imposed night curfew on the borders Rivers shares with Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Imo states, following recent attacks and killings of security operatives by gunmen.
