A popular Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho has denied ever having anything to do with a Special Adviser on Political Matters to President Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Babafemi Ojudu. Akeredolu’s Quit Notice to Fulani, Constitutional – Falana

Femi Falana, SAN, has said that the order given by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State asking herdsmen to vacate forest reserves in the state within seven days is legal. Falana in a statement issued on Sunday said the governor was within his constitutional rights to issue such order. Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has said that it would be dangerous, reckless and counterproductive for the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to arrest Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, who issued a quit notice to Fulani herdsmen in Oyo State. IGP Orders Arrest of Sunday Igboho

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the arrest of Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho, over an eviction order on Fulanis in Oyo State. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, confirmed this in an interview with BBC Hausa. The government of the United States has criticized the killing of civilians in Northern region of Nigeria and called on President Muhammadu Buhari to be firm in securing lives and property.
