In its final friendly before traveling to Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the Nigerian Super Eagles this afternoon lost 0:1 to Czech Republic. Upon resumption, the game was halted at about the 60th minute as a result of the heavy rains and wind that hampered play. When the game resumed, the Super Eagles took full control of the game, but could not convert the possession to a goal. Nigeria will be facing Croatia in the first of their 2018 World Cup games on June 16.
