Lagos Assembly Worries over Entry of Unchecked Foreign Nationals into the State
Lagos State House of Assembly has expressed dissatisfaction over the unchecked migration of foreign nationals into the State, expressing security concern and the need to arrest the situation immediately.
Hon. Agunbiade reiterated that recently vehicles used to convey cows to Lagos are now utilized to migrate up to fifty people into the State on regular basis without any check by security agencies. He expressed fear over this trend because instruments of mass destruction and guns could also be brought into the State in such an unfiltered manner.
According to him, “Our infrastructures are overstretching already and the mass arrivals will not help matters”.
