An Ebonyi State federal high court in Abakaliki has declared the activities of the south-east security outfit, Ebube Agu, illegal in the state. Recall that the south-east states governors had in April 2021, announced the establishment of the security network as part of measures to curb insecurity in the region. Nine Ghanaians have been sentenced to eight years imprisonment each by the federal high court in Laos for attempting to smuggle cannabis into Nigeria.
