Opinion: Adeosun NYSC Certificate Saga, Like Minister, Like Her President- Reno Omokri

While sharing his views on the alleged forgery of an exemption certificate by Nigeria's Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun, Reno Omokri, a former aid to former President Goodluck Jonathan said it was a case of like minister, liker her president. Referring the President's certificate saga years back, Reno tweeted that, there was no reason for anyone to be surprised. His tweet read: "I don’t understand why @PremiumTimesng is shocked that Buhari appointed a minister who forged her NYSC Certificate. What about President @MBuhari himself. Did he not present a dubious certificate to Nigerians in 2015 dubbed ‘NEPA Certificate’? Like minister like her President!"

Embattled former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki has been granted bail by an Abuja Federal High Court. In her ruling, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu stated that it was illegal for the defendant to have been held without trial as this violated his fundamental human right. Breaking News: Senator Abaribe Arrested by DSS

Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has been arrested by men of the Department of State Services (DSS). Senator Abaribe is the Senator representing Abia South in the upper house of the National Assembly. It is not yet clear why he was arrested but as at the time of filing this report, his home in Abuja has been cordoned off by officers of the DSS. It appears the men of the DSS are about to carry out a search of the residence. It will be recalled that the Senator is one of those that stood surety for Nnamdi Kanu, and had been instructed to produce him before the next hearing of his case.
