NFF, Nike to Unveil National Team New Jerseys October

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is set to unveil new kits for Nigerian National Teams designed by kit-sponsors Nike in October. The NFF’s Communication Department disclosed in a statement on Tuesday. Finishing touches were put to the designs with observations and comments taken, and Nike officials fully briefed on the minute details of the preferences of the NFF chieftains during a virtual meeting of NFF officials and Nike executives. The Association of Resident Doctors in the Federal Capital Territory Administration, ARD-FCTA, have embarked on an indefinite strike action from September 1, 2020 to protest unfavourable work conditions. The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has declared chloroquine as potent for the prevention of coronavirus. Rwanda Discloses Plans for School Resumption

The government of Rwanda has said schools will remain shut till comprehensive risk assessment is conducted which will determine period and method of resumption. The decision on school reopening is one among other resolutions reached by the cabinet after a meeting on Friday, August 14 in Kigali. FEC Approves N8.49bn For Purchase of COVID-19 Testing Kits

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has today ratified the sum of N8.49bn for the procurement of 12 items for the testing of deadly COVID-19 by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). President Muhammadu Buhari gave the approval during a virtual council meeting on Wednesday. The minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire presented the memo on behalf of the centre at the Council chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja after which it was considered and approved.
