Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has alleged that the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Iyorchia Ayu, is clinging on to his position because he wants to continue being in charge of the party’s funds. Iyorchia Ayu, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has said that although he has the power to stop Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State and others calling for his resignation from contesting election under the PDP, he has chosen not to do so.
