Breaking: Nigerian FEC Approves N13.08tn Budget for 2021

  The Nigerian Federal Executive Council (FEC) has projected a N13.08 trillion budget for the 2021 fiscal year. Speaking to State House Correspondents after the weekly virtual FEC meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, the Minister for Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, also said the oil benchmark has been pegged at $40 per barrel.   The convoy of Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, was involved in a fresh attack on Sunday morning around Baga. The fresh attack which did not record any death, happened when the governor and his convoy were returning to Maiduguri. 30 Dead as Boko Haram Attack Borno Governor’s Convoy

  The Convoy of Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum was attacked by terror sect Boko Haram on Friday leaving the death toll at 30. Sources in Maiduguri said the casualties from the attack on Zulum on a highway had doubled, following the recovery of more bodies. The victims of the attack included policemen and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force. However, The police and the governor have come out to said 11 people died in the attack.
