Why I Worshipped At Dunamis Church – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate has given an insight into why he worshipped at the Dunamis International Gospel Church on Friday.

According to Obi, he attended the church to fellowship and praise God.

He disclosed in a post on his social media handle, posting pictures of him at the church’s Mid-Year praise and worship night.

The Senior Pastor of the Church, Paul Enenche, invite Obi, the wife of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential vice-presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa, Edith; Akwa Ibom Governor, Emmanuel udom among other political heavyweights.

Obi’s presence at the service was welcomed by loud applause from members of the church.

The former Anambra State governor was called to the altar along with other political leaders by Enenche to offer prayers for Nigeria.

Obi in a tweet said, “I spent an uplifting and exhilarating 8 hours of fellowship amongst fellow Nigerians @DunamisGospel 2022 Mid Year Praise and Worship, with @DrPaulEnenche, his family and other dignitaries.

“I used that auspicious occasion to thank God.”

Recalling his prayer, the LP candidate tweeted, “God we have no other nation but Nigeria. Please deliver us. Please save us. Nigeria must not go down. Let your light shine upon this nation.” God is Good! -PO”
