The Super Falcons are set to face The Indomitable Lionesses for their WAFCON 2022 quarterfinal clash scheduled today.
Falcon forward Francisca Ordega believes that the team will come out with a win over the Cameroon women’s team.
The Nigerian women’s team is on a two successive winning streak, outclassing the Burundian national team four goals to nil after an earlier two goals to nil win over Botswana.
Although the team’s outstanding performance, they are placed second beneath South Africa on the Group C table after losing 2-1 to them.

Ordega acknowledges that the Cameroonians are a formidable team and could pose a threat to the Super falcons.
She further stated that every other team is at their best when facing the Falcons and they won’t underestimate any team in their upcoming matches.
“Everybody here understands what is at stake,” Ordega noted. “After what happened in our first game, we knew we had to switch from that moment and remain positive; we had to come back stronger and make a difference in the other games.”
“When it comes to Nigeria, every team wants to beat us, but we won’t look down on any team, we know we can be better, and definitely we will get stronger match by match.
“Cameroon is a very strong side and I know they play good football. My teammate, Gabrielle Onguéné, and I were joking about meeting ourselves at the WAFCON, before we left Russia and I told her, we would beat them.
Super Falcon Defender, Osinachi Ohale and striker, Rasheedat Ajibade are also confident that the team will defeat the Cameroonians.
