Dino Melaye, former Kogi West Senator, has accepted his appointment as a spokesperson for Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for the 2023 presidential election.
Recall that Atiku had in a statement released by Paul Ibe, his Special Adviser on Media, announced Melaye’s appointment with immediate effect on Thursday.

Melaye took to his Twitter page to react to the appointment, promising to give his best for Atiku and the PDP.
He tweeted, “I thank Atiku Abubakar for appointing me as his Spokesperson and that of the PDP presidential campaign of the PDP in a letter personally written by the next president of Nigeria.
“Thank you, sir and l will not let you or our great party down. God bless you sir and VP Okowa. Let’s go.”
