Embattled Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, alias Sunday Igboho, has been granted permission to seek medical care which gives his doctors access to him in custody.

The permission was granted by the Cour De’Appel De Cotonou, Benin Republic, on Monday after his counsels battled to secure his bail.

“The court has granted him access to medical care, although what the lawyers were fighting hard for was to secure his bail. The court is still investigating the three main allegations brought against Igboho by the Federal Government of Nigeria which claimed that Igboho is a gun runner, a terrorist and a criminal who wants to divide Nigeria. All these have yet to be proven by the Nigerian government’s lawyers,” a source stated.

Recall that the Benin Republic police arrested Igboho two weeks ago at the Cardinal Bernardin International Airport in Cotonou, while trying to board a flight from the country to Germany.
