The Nigerian Super Falcons beat the Queen Scorpions of Gambia by 6:0 yesterday in Lagos to qualify for the 11th African Women Cup of Nations.
The Nigerians had earlier beaten the Gambians on their home turf 1:0. This brings the aggregate score to 7:0.
Having won 9 out of the 10 previous AWCON championships, the Nigerians are set to win a 10th title.
Teams that have also qualified for the finals include: Hosts Ghana, Algeria, Zambia, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Mali and South Africa.
