Security: Katsina Communities Again Raided by Bandits

Kasidau, Maigora and many nearby settlements in Katsina state have been attached by bandits in the late hours of Tuesday, 9 June, 2020.

Information said sporadic shots were fired, people scampered for safety while the bandits burnt houses and rustled a yet to be identified number of cattle.

The communities are part of Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Recently, inhabitants of Yantumaki town in Danmusa Local Government Area had expressed their displeasure over the spate of attacks and killings in the state. Their anger was targeted at the President and ruling party of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
