Reno Omokri, a former aide to erstwhile president Goodluck Jonathan has lauded Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi as an excellent candidate to lead the country.

Omokri disclosed this in a tweet on his official Twitter handle on Sunday.   

The former presidential aide has had squabbles with supporters of the former Anambra State governor who identify as ‘Obedient Movement’. However, Omokri has said that he loves Peter Obi’s supporters because they are his ardent followers and they love his nuggets.

But Omokri added that despite Obi’s competence, he prefers the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

He asked Nigerians to support any candidate of their chance and still maintain respect for one another.  

Omokri tweeted, “I love Obidients, because they love #RenosNuggets. But I am voting for Atiku Abubakar. It does not mean Peter Obi is not an excellent candidate. He is.

“Just that Atiku is a better candidate in my opinion. We can all support who we want and still respect each other.”
