Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has replied to the derogative comment made by the opposing party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of The All Progressive Congress.
Tinubu said at the rally of the Osun governorship election for APC candidate, Adegboyega Oyetola, “They said some are in Labour, they will remain labourers till death.”
Tinubu also campaigned that the people of Osun should re-elect the APC candidate to give the state better leadership.

Following the comment made by Tinubu, Peter Obi countered the statement by saying “When they show you hatred, Labour Party will show them love. There is dignity in labour.”
Peter Obi made the remark in Osogbo during a campaign rally meant to support the party’s candidate, Lasun Yusuff, who is also contesting for the governorship seat.
Yusuff also replied to Tinubu’s comments saying those words do not befit the attributes of a virtuous Yoruba man.
