Presidential candidate, Peter Obi chooses Senator Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed as his running mate for the upcoming 2023 election.
Senator Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed served in the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007 and represented Kaduna North as senator from 2011 to 2015.

The 46-year-old is the founder and chancellor of Baze University and Baba Ahmed University respectively.
Barely 24 hours after Doyin Okupe stepped down as Vice-President to Peter Obi, Baba Ahmed was announced as the new Vice-President to represent the Labour Party.
