Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Facebook’s Vice President, Policy and Communication, Nick Clegg will today, Friday, September 18 hold a virtual informal chat.
In a Statement released by Facebook on Thursday, the chat is billed to hold as part of the activities earmarked for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The 75th session of the U.N General Assembly started on Tuesday with the dedication of a moment of silence to the unprecedented Coronavirus pandemic. The General Assembly is billed to close on September 22.
According to the statement issued on the informal chat, Facebook said the chat will be moderated by Omowale David-Ashiru, Vice President, Global Operations at Andela. The chat will also explore the growth of digital economy while highlighting the role of Facebook in economic development across Sub-Saharan Africa.
