The Nigeria Police Force, Enugu State command has said it is not aware of the alleged disappearance of the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry of Enugu, Nigeria, (AMEN), Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka.

The alarm of his disappearance was raised by the Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, OYC, in a statement.

Fr Mbaka’s followers and members of his Adoration Ministry had taken to the streets in protest of his disappearance on Wednesday.

Recall that the clergy had last week asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign or be impeached.

The Presidency had in its reaction attacked Fr Mbaka alleging that the cleric was annoyed because he was denied contracts he sought from the Buhari administration.

The spokesman of Enugu State Police Command, Daniel Ndukwe told SaharaReporters that the command do not have any information about the whereabouts of the cleric.

He said, “We don’t have any of such report now. But with time, we will give you an update if we have any.”
