The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zubairu Muazu on Thursday promised to collaborate with Nigerian Institute of Management through capacity building training of officers of the State command.
He disclosed this in a courtesy visit to Management House of the Institution. Saying the visit aimed to familiarize and identify with the management of the institute where he is a member.
Muazu revealed that the training he received while preparing to sit for the Institute’s Membership Professional Examination and the subsequent capacity building programmes he has been attending thereafter have been of immense help to his development and advancement as a Police officer.
In his response, Mr. Tony Fadaka, Registrar/Chief Executive urged the commissioner of Police to engaged all the officers on different human capacity programmes of the Institute to enhance their performance in securing the communities and Lagos State
The Registrar commended the police boss of the command achievements and assured cooperation that would benefit both the institute and the police ultimately.
He later decorated the Commissioner of Police with the members’ lapel pin of the Institute.
The commissioner of police was accompanied to the visit by the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State, DSP Bala Elkana and Mr. Adewunmi Salau.
At the meeting were Mr. W. A. Sikiru, FNIM, the Director of Finance and Investment; Mr. Abayomi Folarin, MNIM, the Director of Membership Services; Mr. Emma Emeasoba, Principal Manager, Corporate Affairs and Management Services; Mrs. Ruth Nwokolo, Senior Manager, Capacity Building and Mr. Clement Ebido, Manager, Curriculum Development.
