“We will also provide other social amenities such as pipe-borne water and health centres that are currently lacking in the areas.”

The former Attorney General and Justice commissioner also expressed dismay at the deplorable condition of roads linking the communities, which he described as an eyesore, and promised to construct befitting road networks.

He promised to ameliorate the sufferings of farmers by providing soft loans for them, to aid them purchase farm instruments.

The PDP candidate also said he would relocate Sango Market to a more conducive environment.

He said, “a cattle market is not supposed to be within the town, for hygienic reasons; hence, the need for its immediate relocation.”

According to Jegede, the people should go out en masse and vote for PDP during the October 10 governorship poll, in order to bring about a government that would bring about much needed sustainable peace and development to their communities.

Alhaji Jiddah Mohammed, the youth coordinator, Sango Cattle Market welcomed the market relocation plan, noting such action would put a stop to persistent crisis between farmers and herders.
