“Is Money More Important than My Life”- Ex-President’s Cousin Begs

Mr. Mike Ogiasa, cousin to Nigerian Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has been seen in a viral video, begging that he should be saved from the hands of kidnappers.

The Ex-commissioner was spotted in the video begging his family to pay the ransom demanded by the abductors, asking them if they valued money more than his life.

According to reports, Mike Ogiasa was abducted in June from his hometown in Ogbia Local Government Area in Bayelsa State.

In the tape, he was spotted in a grave, bare-chested with a sack on his head, pleading that anything should be done for his release.

“Is money more important than my life? You’re seeing me in the grave and the money is there doing nothing, Please do everything to come and release me” he pleaded.

The Nigerian Police Force had conveyed this new development to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

The frontman of the Bayelsa Police Command, Asinim Butswat, confirms that the video is not a bluff and later disclosed that top security agents met on Friday to discuss on ways to rescue the Ex-commissioner unharmed.

He also assured the general public and the families of the victim that the police are committed to getting Ogiasa rescued from the kidnapper’s hideout.
