How I Will Help My Husband Develop Inclusive Policies Says Mrs Soludo, By Daniel Ezeigwe

The wife of the Anambra State governor-elect, Mrs Nonye Soludo has said that she is open to helping her husband, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, initiate inclusive social policies that would better the lives of Anambra women, children and youths.

Mrs Soludo who stated this while speaking on her plans for her husband’s official term which begins on March 17, 2022, stated that she hopes to complement grassroots policies of the new administration, and drive creative programmes that would have a direct impact on the rural people.

While restating her keen interest in the welfare of women and children, especially those who seem to have been cut off from crucial public policies, Mrs Soludo noted that though her husband’s manifesto provides clear blueprint for social welfare, she would identify other areas that might have eluded dominant government attention.

The governor-elect’s wife, who is a seasoned nutritionist and hygienist, also pledged to lead a strategic campaign across the state against infant and maternal killer diseases, especially those that emerge from poor nutrition and bad hygiene.

She commended wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Dr (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano, whom she said, has addressed many social challenges in Anambra State using her charity organization, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFE, and stated thar her model would serve as a solid reference point.
